Description

*updated for iPhone 4 users giving almost perfect recognition results*

WizDoc is a combined OCR and translation application to convert physical text (newspapers, books, magazines, documents) into a wide selection of languages for your IPhone 3GS.

Imagine being abroad and trying to understand a paragraph of an ad from a local news paper, in a language you don’t read. You aim your IPhone’s camera above the text, select the source language and the language you wish to translate the text to, press the magic button and read the ad!

WizDoc has a built in spell checker over the source language to make sure you have the right word.

Can be used on large source of text – documents, restaurant menus, text of signs from the street...

Just try it out and you’ll see!

Does not work at all.

:
As already stated, this program does not work. It freezes everytime after taking a picture of a document, and then the app crashes. Worthless. I wish that I could have read the other 2 reviews before purchasing, but it said that there were no other reviews. Only after purchasing did they appear. What kind of shop are you running, Mr. Jobs?

Do developers read reviews???

:
I downloaded this app because it was free and it looked like a good concept but how come that after multiple 1 start reviews back at the beginning of the year this app keeps on crashing? Don't you think a "responsible" developer would look at the reviews of his/her product and find out what people are saying about it?
Well, enough said, FIX YOUR CRAP!!!
